  • #nobadstuff = Chobani
  • #justdoit = Nike
  • #ruleyourself = Under Armour

They're clever, powerful and can apply to many different situations and users. These are the hashtags with the power to rule social media.

How to apply this: When setting up your social media strategy, take time to hone in on your hashtag. Don't get caught up in keywords or incorporating your company or product name, but rather, think of something that moves people. Whether it's fun or inspiring or a little of everything, find a hashtag that people want to use. Then continue to place it in on all your channels and find clever ways to highlight it.

2. Bullying doesn't go far:

How to apply this: Catch onto trends and hashtags that show love and goodness, rather than trying to gain traction through someone or something else's suffering.

How to apply this: Seek out gifs, screenshots and other imagery and strategize on fun ways to react to the happenings in your industry. People don't always want information on your company, product or field; you can also offer them a fun way to look at these happenings.
