Tuesday Tidbit: Google Releases New Tool for Testing Your Website

How does your website perform both on desktop and mobile? Is it fast enough? How mobile friendly is it? Now, you can quickly and easily check it out with Google's new website testing tool.

It's simple - put your URL into the box and click Test Now. The result is a really pretty, easy-to-read report. I tested arcstone.com and we did excellent on mobile, but it looks like our site could be just a bit faster.

When you click to download the report, it does make you sign up for occasional updates from Google about relevant tools and tips and it could take about 24 hours to even send the report. The results you get, though, will give you great insight into how your site works both on mobile and desktop.
