ArcStone is full of foodies. Our lunch dates revolve around the Uptown restaurant scene, our staff parties have delectable items from creative coworker-chefs and we even have a Slack channel dedicated to sharing good recipes. Needless to say, I love it here and frequently ask for recommendations. That's why I thought it wise to consult with such ArcStonians before I made my Restaurant Week Minneapolis reservation.. Here are their ideas for us all to keep in mind for a night (lunch / brunch / happy hour) out in Minneapolis:
1. Icehouse:

ArcStone co-owner Lisa recommends to "go for happy hour and enjoy the sloppy nachos or the house-cut fries with brisket aioli. Doesn't get much better. The cocktails are creative and delicious too!
"The live music that Icehouse books is top-notch. We like going there for happy hour on Fridays where you might hear music from Tim Sparks and James Buckley or Bryan Nichols. Truly a treat! The space is beautiful and the sound system was thoughtfully designed."
2. Victory 44

Head of IT Alicia put it like this: "Everyone I've ever taken here has gone nuts for Devils on Horseback (bacon wrapped dates with bleu cheese) and what they call The Perfect Burger. Right now, I'm eyeing their new quinoa salad.
"Located in the Victory neighborhood, Victory 44 is a North Minneapolis gem that's fancy enough for date night, but just as perfect for a casual weekend brunch."
3. Copper Hen

HR / Office Manager Youa described the charcuterie platter and cheese platter as "The Perfect Marriage."
"Everything on the menu is specially crafted to please the palate. My go-to at any restaurant is the charcuterie platter, and the Copper Hen has the best one in the Cities. Their desserts are also top notch."
4. Betty Danger's Country Club

Our Project Manager Josh points us to Betty Danger's tacos and says the "Betty Danger's ferris wheel ("The Danger") offers a sweeping view of downtown and the Mississippi River, and might be the best place to spend a summer evening with a cocktail. After the ride, dinner on the patio and a round of mini golf cap off the evening perfectly."
5. Rinata

Lisa also frequents the nearby Rinata for their specials stating, "I've never been disappointed by any of their specials! Prosciutto wrapped in peaches with goat cheese and basil."
"Situated on Hennepin Avenue in Uptown, Rinata makes you feel like you're in Tuscany. We like going there for Sunday night date night when they offer 1/2 price bottles of wine."
6. Sanctuary

"I can't help but go with the tasting menu every time - a vegetarian tasting menu such a treat!" At least, that's how vegetarian Alicia feels. "Sanctuary features an eclectic, sometimes daring, and always changing menu that showcases unique pairings and sustainable ingredients. Located in Downtown East, they're the perfect place to stop for dinner before a show at the Guthrie or, soon, a concert at the new football stadium."
