Responsibilities
Leads and collaborates with a variety of team members (digital marketing strategist, copywriters, web developers, designers, technical operators, .etc) on small and large-scale projects from start to finish. The Project Manager is the tether between the client and team members — communicating and/or facilitating discussions on objectives, goals, strategy, and execution. This role also helps maintain workload capacity, project timelines, and budgets.
Typical activities
- Manages small and large-scale web projects
- Assesses and coordinates technical needs from functionality to 3rd party integrations
- Communicates with clients and team members
- Manages workload and keeps projects on-track
- Sets project milestones and schedules
- Oversees team members and delegates tasks
- Ensure the team has what they need to be successful with the project
- Manages customer expectations
- Coordinates with sales team for project scheduling
- Coordinates with technical team for site launch
Required skills
- 3–5 years experience as a project manager in a digital agency environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent knowledge of web technologies including WordPress
- Strong attention to detail
- Proactive in fast-paced work environments
Helpful Skills
- Experience in using design programs such as Adobe CC.
- Understanding and some experience in web development languages such as HTML, CSS, jQuery, PHP.
- Experience utilizing project management tools such as Basecamp, Trello, Harvest, etc.
- Experience in using sales and marketing automation tools such as HubSpot and SharpSpring.
