Meet Chris: ArcStone's newest (and tallest maybe ever) intern

I am a tall lanky dude who likes to play various sports to stay busy outside of work. If it involves a ball or a puck, I probably play it. Although, there are a few sports/activites that aren't really my thing. One of those activies is swimming. Imagine throwing a rock into a pool of water – that paints a fairly good picture of what me swimming looks like.

I attended Minnesota State University, Mankato where I received a degree in Business Marketing. Following graduation I continued work with a couple start-up companies while running a sales route for a small distribution company. The majority of this post-graduation work has involved business development and digital marketing. Working on various projects in a bootstrap environment has taught me to be flexible and wear many different hats. I have become a more creative thinker because of this. I love having flexibility to be creative as well as building relationships with people through my work.

What first drew me towards ArcStone was some of the great work they had done. Their showcase of work really stood out to me and seemed like something I wanted to be part of. When they told me they were looking for a business development intern, things started to fall into place. I know I want to have a career in the digital marketing space and ArcStone seemed like the perfect fit for that. I just started my first week here and everyone has been very helpful and inviting.

There are a lot of things I am hoping to get out of my time here at ArcStone and a possibility of continuing my work here past the internship is one of them.

My Goals:

  • Learn the language of a digital agency
  • Take a step towards becoming a master of inbound marketing
  • Aid ArcStone in their business development efforts
  • Drink as much free coffee as I can
  • Comfortably consult with new clients of ArcStone
  • Be as much of an asset as I can be
