It’s the time of year where we turn inward and reflect. I’m one of those people who finds starting a new year exciting and invigorating. But, first, before delving into next year’s goals and resolutions, it’s important to look back and be thankful.

Many of my "best of" highlights are related to our team at ArcStone. I'm very grateful to work with such a talented, kind, and supportive staff.

Here are some "Best of" highlights from 2018.

  • Fresh off the heels of our first Happy(our) panel discussion in October of 2017, we decide to make Happy(our) events a regular thing. In 2018, we hosted two Happy(our) events one on Craftsmanship and another on Evolution. To learn more about ArcStone Events, visit our events page

  • Davendra Raghubir joins ArcStone’s support team as Junior Support Engineer in February 2018. If you talk to someone from support, chances are the person on the other end of the phone line is Davendra.

  • Our clients told us they wanted to learn about digital marketing. We delivered by curating Crash Course curriculum so they could learn about content marketing, SEO, content production, WordPress, website redesigns, and our favorite digital tools.

  • ArcStone hosts a Sofar Sounds secret concert in April. Shh...don't tell anyone.

  • In June, Sydney Franklin joins ArcStone as a graphic designer and digital marketer. If you need an infographic or data visualization, Sydney's your team member.

  • Being the music aficionados we are, we kicked off the ArcStone concert series last July. Over the last few months, several bands and musicians have played at ArcStone including: Adam Levy, David Huckfelt (The Pines), PaviElle, Gaelyn Lee, Chris Lynch and The Suns of Dust, Chris Koza, Ben Lubeck, The Hunts, The OK Factor, Lydia Liza, The Bryan Nichols Combo, and more.

  • ArcStone moves from Accelo to Harvest for time tracking and resource forecasting. Harvest allows us to be more efficient with our time and accurately scope out projects.

  • We expand our marketing team by adding Ilia Jones to the mix. Ilia handles content marketing and social media strategy and execution. If you're interested in using social media to grow your audience, you can count on Ilia.

  • ArcStone designer, Michael Sasorith proposes hosting the AIGA Minnesota's Diversity & Inclusion Committee at ArcStone. We are proud of Michael and his commitment to such an critical issue.

  • ArcStone attains HubSpot Gold Tiered status. Our HubSpot growth has been steady and deliberate. We know that HubSpot may not be a fit for everyone and we won't push it on you if it isn't right for your organization.

  • Sam Otteson joins the team as a project manager in December 2018. If you work on a design or development project, you'll probably meet Sam.

  • Youa Vang is awarded the F-Bomb for her ArcStone work at the holiday party. Youa has been instrumental in executing and planning our events.

Thank you ArcStone Team, clients, vendors, and community for making 2018 such a great year! Cheers to 2019! The best is yet to come.
