1. Ant Communication
A pair of Russian scientists conducted an experiment to measure the information capacity and information processing capabilities of ants. They found that the ants were able to use data from scout ants to navigate a binary tree maze without the aid of odors. The data transfer rate between red wood ants (F. polyctena) was about 1.1 bits per minute.

2. MSP Bus
I recently attended MinneDemo, and I thought this real-time bus schedule app was pretty cool.
3. Kentucky Route Zero
Ketucky Route Zero is a point and click PC adventure game that emphasizes story telling and atmospheric visuals over challenging gameplay mechanics and goals.
4. Usagi Yojimbo
Usagi Yojimbo is probably the best comic book series I have ever read. It combines themes from Samurai films with Japanese folklore, and the stories are fun. If you like comic books, Japanese culture, or Samurai movies, I highly recommend this series.
5. Ever wonder how many people are in space right now?
