It is with heavy hearts that we share our sad news. Our beloved, Roberto died on Tuesday night, December 13th. He spent his last 24 hours eating leftover filet mignon, walking to work, enjoying the boulevard at 27th & Aldrich (in a variety of ways), greeting new people at ArcStone, and getting pets from everyone at the office.

Unfortunately, the day took a sudden turn when he became lethargic and didn’t seem himself. We took him to the emergency vet late that night and learned that he had a tumor on his spleen that had ruptured. His condition was critical and he was very weak. Roberto died surrounded by his family late that night.italy-summer-2007 229.jpg

We’re sharing it here, on the ArcStone blog because Roberto came with us to work most days. We even gave him the title of Director of Corporate Culture. This may seem like a joke, but it wasn’t. Roberto loved everyone that he encountered. Our clients often requested that Roberto be in the office when they were coming in for a meeting.

It’s overwhelming the number of lives Roberto touched and how many people loved him. We feel extremely grateful for our time with him. He knew what he was here to do – love EVERYONE – and that’s what he tried to teach us.

We’ll miss you Roberto. You were a prince of dogs and true teacher of humans, may you rest in peace.
